Black Desert Developers Announce Heidel Gathering 2026, Taking Place in July

Pearl Abyss has revealed that this year's Heidel Gathering will leave Korea's typical stage and head to California — the announcement coincides with the game's tenth anniversary and is scheduled for late July. See the event listing on the Black Desert site for the official post.

For a few years the Heidel Gathering has mainly been a Korea-centered presentation; now, though, it looks less like a formal press show and more like the recent in-person fan meetups Pearl Abyss ran across North America. That shift means a looser program and more room for fans to actually hang out — if that sounds appealing, read on.

The full event page promises regular announcements alongside a few crowd-pleasers: an NA vs. EU face-off, a cosplay contest, community-driven activities, exclusive merch, a free dinner, and other surprises. Not all of it is spelled out yet, so expect some things to be TBD.

The Heidel Gathering in Southern California 2026 will take place on Saturday, July 25.

Participation appears to be free (subject to confirmation). Registration is open until April 30, with admission notifications sent on May 7. You’ll need a Pearl Abyss account and must register yourself (no group sign-ups). Travel and hotel costs are on attendees, though transportation to certain hotels — and apparently to/from the airport — will be arranged. RSVP early if you want a shot at a spot; seats are limited and you don't want to miss the cosplay.
