The developers of Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement have pushed the release to next year — ETA: next year (FYI). The initial reveal for the sequel by Koji Igarashi took place in summer 2025, and a showing was expected roughly a year on; that timetable has been reset. After a long quiet spell, studio ArtPlay published a short video in which Igarashi himself explains the delay. He says the team will use the extra weeks/months to assemble better materials and, starting today, fans will see fresh updates — screenshots included below as proof.
Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement is set up as a prequel to the 2019 title Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. The project already has a Steam page and can be wishlisted — it has received that listing.
