Gaijin Network Publishing and Matter Team studio have put out a fresh gameplay trailer for the paranormal shooter Active Matter. The clip pairs gameplay with the iconic Soviet-era track "Na zare" by Alliance, an unusual soundtrack choice that gives the footage a strange, nostalgic edge.
Scenes jump between pockets of a fragmented multiverse; operatives slip through abandoned buildings and clash with supernatural foes. Anomalies warp the rules of movement and combat—characters can run along walls, for instance, and fights often rely on odd physics-based tricks rather than straightforward gunplay.
Early access began in September 2025, sold exclusively through the Gaijin store. The release comes in several editions, priced from 1499 to 5996 rubles, so players can pick an option that fits their tastes (e.g., someone who wants just the basics vs. a player after extras).
The team also reminded players that Active Matter will arrive on Steam and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series at a later date. Fans are invited to add it to their wishlist and wait for those platform launches for broader access.
