The devs of Expedition: Into Darkness reported a milestone — the game just hit 300,000 wishlist additions. They called it one of the project's turning points and publicly thanked everyone who stuck around through testing (they sounded genuinely relieved, if you read between the lines).
The creators say players did much more than bookmark the page. People joined playtests and beta sessions, filed bug reports for QA, made fan content and mods, and left feedback that actually nudged design choices; those contributions show up in the build you can try now.
The studio plans more tests over the next few weeks and will gradually widen access. The devs keep pointing out that player input isn’t just PR copy — it’s a working part of development — so expect continued calls for testers and more chances to influence what the game becomes.
