The developers of Helldivers 2 have pushed a hefty update that leans heavily into balance fixes. A new "Control Center" appears — basically a hub where players claim rewards for completed tasks and browse the chronicles of past events. Transport and enemy armor got a substantial overhaul: some foes now absorb more punishment, while the "Bastion" tank and exosuits were beefed up. All turrets now have double the HP, and orbital strikes hit for twice the damage.

Notable changes include:

  • the ability to delay weapon reload and reload while in water;
  • reworking of many weapon types;
  • changes to enemy mobility and attacks.

Recall that previously the Helldivers 2 devs were criticized over a problematic DLSS rollout — players claimed the upscaler worked correctly on character models but failed on other objects. Many asked for a rollback to make the shooter run more stably; honestly, that complaint sounded pretty reasonable to a lot of people.
