Troy Baker — the actor behind Joel — says he's ready to return to the The Last of Us universe. In a recent interview he admitted he'd support whatever Neil Druckmann brings to the table, e.g., a prequel about the brothers' early survival or a completely different direction. He singled out the 20-year "gap" after the catastrophe as a rich, if not obvious, place to hang a story — more a doorway than a promise. Baker also made it clear he trusts Naughty Dog; he'd be involved even if his part amounted to being a player on release day. The franchise's next moves are still under wraps, but Troy says he's already waiting on the sidelines for a cue from his colleagues.
