Over 75% of the PlayStation 3 library is now fully playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator
The RPCS3 team announced a new landmark: 75.33% of officially released PS3 titles now carry the "Playable" tag. That label means a gamer on PC can see a game's ending without major crashes or crippling slowdowns — and yes, this comes roughly six months after crossing the 70% threshold.
This jump wasn't magic. The devs focused on PPU thread optimizations and finally stomped on a number of long-standing rendering bugs, which nudged many older favorites into the fully playable bin. Examples include Skate 2, Driver: San Francisco, Ninja Gaiden 3, and Ratchet: Gladiator.
On the flip side, only two games remain under the "Loadable" status (they'll launch but aren't reliably completable), and there are no longer any titles that flat-out refuse to start. That empty "doesn't boot" column says a lot about how far the emulator has come — and how much work went into making that happen.
