According to Deadline, Oscar Isaac ("Frankenstein," "Beast") is in the final stages of negotiations to star in a new Netflix series. He'd play Robert Redman, the owner of the most popular hotel-casino in Las Vegas — a man nudged toward risky gambits to stay competitive and extend his influence; think big, risky moves that could cut both ways, e.g., bold deals or murky alliances. The creators are Brian Koppelman and David Levin, the duo behind “Billions”. Producers on board include Martin Scorsese and Isaac himself (Isaac is listed as a producer, too). The season is planned at eight episodes, with J.C. Chandor ("Craven Hunter") set to direct two. Production is scheduled to begin in the summer, though timelines like this can still shift as talks finish.
