The creation of GTA 6 may have cost between 3 and 6 billion dollars
Rockstar's bill for Grand Theft Auto VI is being estimated at anywhere from $3B up to $6B — at least, that's the claim in a new video from the YouTube channel Legacy Finance.
The video's creator sifted through filings on a UK government site and then added a layer of assumptions; part paper-trail, part conjecture. He was frank about limits, too — not a professional financier, he warned, so consider the figure a rough sketch rather than a final accounting.
GTA 6 is set to release on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, and a large ad campaign will start this summer. An analyst has even argued the launch could shake the console market.
Fans continue to pick apart every leak and hint. Not long ago they discovered evidence that an inventive procedural glass-destruction system might be in the build — a neat technical detail, esp. for modders and tech-curious players.
