The upcoming horror Silent Hill: Townfall from Screen Burn and Annapurna Interactive will be a PlayStation 5 console exclusive for at least six months after its release on September 24. New promotional materials from Sony and Konami confirm this. The game will also appear on PC at launch; Xbox Series X|S owners, however, will need to wait — much like the staggered rollout for the Silent Hill 2 remake.
"PS5 console exclusive. Also releasing on PC. The title will not be released on other consoles for at least six months after the September 2026 launch," Konami said.
In Silent Hill: Townfall you play Simon Ordell, who returns to the remote Scottish isle of Saint Amelia. The place is full of nightmarish beings and scattered traces of lives long gone; slowly, Simon has to piece together what ties him to the island, e.g., how past choices and local mysteries intersect with the horrors he faces. Expect atmosphere-first moments, some investigative beats, and a past that refuses to stay buried.
