The devs behind the goblin-bashing fantasy title Slay the GoblinZ have dropped a demo version on Steam.
In this demo you’ll take quests and brawl through waves of green-skinned enemies, advancing one level at a time. There are 15 weapon types — swords, staves, bows, axes, etc. — and a skill tree that lets you mix and match abilities. Character growth uses the familiar RPG shorthand (STR/AGI/INT/END), so you can quickly grasp how to tweak a build. Not gonna pretend it’s all polished perfection; expect some rough edges and a few laughable deaths while you figure things out.
You begin in a damp stone cave — push deeper and the "goblin kingdom" and its hidden hoards start to make themselves known.
A full PC release of Slay the GoblinZ is slated for later this year, barring any last-minute hiccups — fingers crossed.
