Details
- The standard RT mode handles diffuse lighting; the enhanced option adds surface reflections.
- Running the “Balance” mode requires a display capable of 120/240 Hz and an HDMI 2.1 cable.
- In a PlayStation blog, a Ubisoft employee noted an overhaul to hair rendering — in Resynced individual strands are simulated so hair reacts to movement and wind. It’s more than a tiny shader tweak: Edward ends up with a noticeably fuller mane in every mode, and in “Quality” nearby NPCs get the same strand-level treatment. Ubisoft says cinematic characters always use this simulation.
The remake of Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag arrives July 9 on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Connect), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Russian localization is included (text only).
