The developers of the action RPG Elven Huntress: Sunveil have released a free demo version on Steam

The team at the Sunveil studio quietly dropped a free demo of their upcoming action RPG, Elven Huntress: Sunveil, on the Steam store. It’s a short slice of the opening area and the underlying systems — nothing meant to stand in for the finished product, but enough to poke at the bones of the game.

This is a third-person, 3D role-playing experience centered on an elven huntress. Portals move the story and the level design, and much of the loop revolves around exploring those gate-linked regions: looting finds, gear hunting, and combat encounters with orcs, some human foes, and undead adversaries.

In the demo you get the ancient fortress called Sunveil as a playable zone. There’s a built-in character editor to tinker with looks and stats, the core combat feels to test, and the equipment system is available up to about level 6. Controller support is present (yes, full support — including an Xbox gamepad), so you can try a pad if you prefer that over mouse+kb.

To run the demo the devs recommend a 64-bit Windows 10 PC. Minimum-ish specs list an Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X class CPU, 16 GB RAM, and a GPU such as an NVIDIA GTX 970, NVIDIA GTX 1650, or AMD Radeon R9 290X. You’ll need roughly 15 GB free on disk to install the trial.

The full game is slated for release on November 6, 2026. It’s still in active development, and the devs are soliciting player impressions from the demo — if you try it, your feedback may influence what changes happen next.
