Netflix has published the full trailer for Below, a six-episode thriller headlined by Josh Hartnett, who is known for his roles in Oppenheimer and Trap.
The series is set in a small fishing town on the island of Newfoundland. Hartnett plays Calvin Penny, a man long haunted by the mysterious death of his father. When an unknown sea creature begins terrorizing the coastline, Calvin is forced to work with a marine researcher to defend his family and the island’s residents while also probing old secrets about his father’s death and the origin of the underwater threat.
Charlie Heaton, familiar to viewers from his role in Stranger Things, also appears in the cast.
All six episodes of Below will premiere on Netflix on October 8 and will be released together rather than on a weekly schedule.
