Japan kicked off that particular craze for quirky character spinoffs, and now the folks handling Re:Zero have another twist: an otome title called "Re:Zero. Office Life from Zero in an Alternate World." It arrives with a trailer and a poster to set the tone.
Think of it as a follow-up to last year’s school-set idea — time has passed and the cast has aged into office roles. There are more characters this round, too. A motley crew — led by the eager sales rep Subaru Natsuki — surrounds the heroine, who’s just joined the company’s new project team. I admit I paused at Reinhard’s expressions; they’re oddly effective.
The comment stream under the trailer is pretty vocal. With so many enthusiastic notes, an actual release (e.g., demo, limited run) wouldn’t surprise anyone — whether it becomes huge is another question.
