Valhalla, Odyssey, and Three More Assassin's Creed Titles Are Temporarily Free on Xbox
Microsoft rolled out a Free Play Days drop that’s entirely Assassin’s Creed-focused this weekend. From today until the end of the weekend you can grab full versions of Valhalla, Unity, Odyssey, Origins, and Syndicate. FYI, AC Mirage is also available but limited to a 2-hour trial.
Look for these in the Xbox Store: open the "Subscriptions" tab and choose the related collection. The offer applies to both Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One — i.e., current and previous gen hardware — and you don’t need any extra paid subscription to play during the promo (e.g., Game Pass isn’t required).
When the Free Play Days window closes, the games will be blocked again, but your save data stays intact. Buy a license later and you’ll pick up where you left off; sales or price cuts may appear afterward, so you can decide then. Not telling you to marathon the lot, but—if you’ve been curious—now’s a decent, low-commitment way to try them.
