Rockstar Games and Atlantic Records have confirmed a companion soundtrack titled Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, scheduled to arrive on November 19, 2026 — the same day Grand Theft Auto VI releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
The record comprises 34 original tracks produced expressly for the game, intended to evoke the atmosphere of Vice City and the fictional state of Leonid. On September 17, the first six songs from the album were released to streaming services. Those initial tracks are:
- That's It by Yung Lean featuring Future and Metro Boomin
- RHYNO by Travis Scott with production by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo from Daft Punk
- Sexy Magic by CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, PinkPantheress, Fred again.. and Etienne de Crécy
- Last Thing You Need by Morgan Wallen
- Macacoa 2000 by Rauw Alejandro
- Bright Lights, Big City by Keith Richards from The Rolling Stones
Rockstar will also offer a physical edition. A limited edition double vinyl 2LP set will be pressed on pink vinyl with blue and purple splatters and include an exclusive 12×24 inch poster; the vinyl package is priced at $50. The soundtrack will be available on CD as well.
An unusual detail being discussed by players: Rockstar is planning physical copies of the soundtrack while, according to published information, Grand Theft Auto VI itself will initially be released only in digital form. That means collectors will be able to buy a physical version of the game's music before a disc edition of the game becomes available.
Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album will therefore function as both an in-game soundtrack and a standalone musical release available at the game's launch.
