Throughout the demo June encounters a range of adversaries and phenomena, including ghostly apparitions, zealot-like fanatics, and several unusual intelligent lifeforms. The sequence alternates between exploration of the derelict environment, combat encounters, and route‑finding that forces players to seek detours through the station’s wreckage.
Player choices during these segments appear to influence how the story moves forward. Midway through the clip the party gains an unexpected companion — a sentient frog designated 42C — who joins June’s group and takes part in subsequent scenes.
