Gaijin Network and the studio Matter Team have released a fresh gameplay trailer for the paranormal evacuation shooter Active Matter. The trailer's standout element wasn't a fancy gadget or a spectacular kill cam but the music: the cult Soviet rock track Na Zare by the band Alyans — an odd, nostalgic choice that made me pause (and replay it).
You can jump into raids to grab loot or opt for PvP, set in a version of the military shooter that leans on a fractured multiverse. Combat plays out in quantum-unstable zones where teams fight over active matter — a substance said to warp time and space — with skirmishes ranging from small 1v1s to larger squad vs. squad clashes.
